Visit by Dr. Brey's group from the NHMFL/FSU to check the V-3a 1.5mm HTS Cold Probe. Bill Brey arrived early, returning the re-adjusted probe. CryoBay would not perform the usual Helium Gas purges (last week would not thermal cycle), so we used sequential Detach and Cool-Down cycles as system purges. Cool-down proceeded normally. Jeremy Thomas arrived later for tuning and matching checks. It has an overcoupled match for 13C resonators, still including the De-Qing stub in the low band of the RF Front End. 1H tune and match okay. 1H has 12dB attenuation in line, 90 is ~50us @ 63dB tpwr. 13C has 9dB+10dB attenuation in line, 90 is ~19us @ 63dB tpwr. Quick 13C S/N check gave 448 Dec ON, and 488 Dec OFF. After they left, I set up 2H calibrations for Lock and Gradient Shim Map with Doped H2O in D2O.
